Prolapse

Anyone ever had their snake prolapse? Mine did and the vet pushed it back in, but theres no guarantee it will stay in place. Any suggestions or thoughts? He told me if the inflamation doesn't go down by not feeding him, his anus will continue to prolapse leading to death
