Introducing the CINNABELLY

JaredHorenstein Aug 30, 2007 10:13 AM

I was fortunate enough to hatch out my most anticipated project of the year....and with great results too!

I bred a male Yellowbelly to a Graziani Cinnamon Pastel female and she gave me 5 eggs.

I hatched out 1.1 Cinnabellies, 1.1 Cinnies and 0.1 Yellowbelly.....GREAT ODDS!!!

They are very strikingly different from the Cinnies I have been producing over the last 4 years...but what is most exciting is the potential Double Homozygous Super that will be made. A Black ball and a White ball combo Super...........This was one of the first combos I wanted to make since we first learned that the super cinny was a black snake......but I missed the cross in 05 & 06.....so to say I am happy that not only did I hit the cross, but I got a pair is an understatement!

Enjoy the pics.......

Cinnamon Pastel on top - Y.B. on the lower left - Cinnabelly on the lower right

Female Cinnabelly

Male Cinnabelly

Neck Striping

Cinnabelly - Cinnamon Pastel - Cinnabelly....it is very cool that they both have the same neck patterning on both sides of their bodies.

And lastly the belly pic....nice orange hues...

It looks like the cinnies I produce from my cinny.......in the pic of the 3 compared to each other the one on the top is rather plain and drab ( ugly ) the bottom one is a much better looking cinny.

It does not appear to be a cross.

PS I'm just playin. Nice snake. Congrats!

Very nice Jared. I love the orange color by the tail. Very Nice. The hard work paid off on this one finally. Way to be persistant. The sides of the cinnabelly somewhat resemble that of the SSYB side pattern.

the most under appreciated morph out there. Your successes are a prime example of the "secrets" a yellow belly can unlock when crossed with other morphs. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

Congratulations that's awesome!

I can't wait for the super cinny super stripe.
All black or dark brown with a golden stripe... imagine that!

Sweet deal man. Looks a lot more apealing to the eye than a regular cinny, I like the extra high-lights and such. Job well done. Just makes me more excited for all my cinny projects this year!
