Awake from the coma of turning 21

medyssa Aug 30, 2007 12:11 PM

So the last oh....4 nights have been overthrown by alcohol and the people who want to corrupt me so between that and the nightmarish hours I am working plus some new "man candy" in my life, I have put you guys on the bottom of my list for too long.

Amazingly enough, I have NOT bought myself a snake for my birthday this year. I dont know if the one I have on hold with Dave will count or not since I put the deposit down in May. Last year I bought Cherry for my birthday present to myself and for Christmas I got big mama Cleo.

I am still not sure if Cherry will be having a litter this year, she looks half-way gravid but the last time she shed was 7/16 so if I go by the dates that others have noticed that their snakes give birth approximately 100 days after their second (?) shed, she should be due in October. Late babies if they come. Fortunately I have a buyer for all of those that I want to sell wholesale.

I am a bit upset though. It looks like I might get a late start on cooling this year if the summer lasts longer than it should. We are finally getting a heat wave out here in CA. Oh well. Beach this weekend!
Happy Labor Day!

JK, figured now was the best time to mess with you, alcohol soaked brain and all. I'm soooo disappointed in you, putting us at the bottom of the list, that's just wrong!!

Sorry to hear Cherry is not showing well for you, hope she does still go late for you, fingers crossed. Of course if she does go late, might want to think about giving her a year off or she might be even later next year.

As for late cooling, it's a part of the burden we bear living in sunny CA!!
