i got kooz as an import cb- so i assume he is the nominate form(aegypticus)because he is about 1 year old and is 11.5 inches last i checked(let's just say 12"he also fits in with the rest of the taxonomy. he is in a 4x2 cage for the past year. i am building him a new cage beginning this weekend. I am wondering if 6x3x3 will hold him for a couple years.I like to go big, i don't have that many animals, and he has "technically" just about outgrown his enclosure already. so- how long until he surpasses the 18" or so mark? I think i will use nuts and bolts instead of screws or nails so i can take it apart if i move or maybe even to expand on it. anyone experienced with big egyptians- can you give me some quick input on ages and sizes? I will using better materials and a more "complete" design so i want it to be good for two years without cramping his "style".also -if i go too big now- will he always expect more and more?(i.e.when he is two feet will he be expecting a 12'cage?) Any input is very much appreciated -i am basically trying to forecast his growth, somewhat.

never mind- 6x3x3 it is. it will be certified nuts i tell you.
