I have a 40 gal tank, a 100 wat heat lamp,an extra heat lamp(30 wat), a compact repti-sun 10,thermometer, timer for light, sand, food and water dish, a small rock hide, and a cricket tank. I will be getting a bigger hide, some rocks, a log to climb, light fixture, supplements, crickets and cricket food.
Im getting my first beardie at a reptile show in N.Carolina this weekend(if i have enough money left).
Please tell me if there is anything else i absolutely need.

Calcium w/D3 Repcal brand is best. Multivitamin, again RepCal brand is best for Beardies. Both of these are very important.

I would return the compact fluorescent UVB and replace it with the straight tube fluorescent 10.0. The compact have bulbs hgave been reported here and on other sites to cause eye problems in dragons.

Save the sand till your dragon is at least 12" long use reptile carpet or non-stick shelf liner from Walmart for now.
