Splendid Sunglow project

BRhaco Aug 30, 2007 05:56 PM

Here's my male amel splendida from NM stock, and one of my hypo females from W. Texas. Hoping for double hets from these guys next Summer. What I haven't been able to find out is whether anyone has yet produced hybino splendida, or even double hets! Anyone know?

I have not heard of any being produced. Maybe someone already has double hets and may produce them in 2008 or 2009.

Either way i want some of those double hets when you produce them.

Last year and again this year I believe that Don Shores has produced double hets:

albino & hypo

albino & axanthic

hypo & axanthic

Although myself and others will have some of these available next year....I believe Don Shores is ahead of the game...and those who bought double hets last year and this year.

Since you were the source of these beauties! They're doing fantastic, by the way. Too bad the male is in shed!

I hope to produce ghosts and snows next year. I have double het hybinos but only females. When I bred them I only got females. I did breed them this year to an albino and did produce albinos possible hets. I'm probably keeping them. Don
