Got my incubators have a couple questons

well looks simple enough I'l set up up ny this weekend if not before. The deli cups that have been added have vent wholes but is this goood or not? I know some people with some types of herps just open the lid once a week and never had water but the one time. whats best foro leo eggs? the water sections see pretty small I don't see how if can makr much of a differecne I'll have to use one of my digital thermometer and humidty guages and play with it see what it does with and without water

whats best for leos is to just keep the substrate as dry as possible while still having a high humidity. what i do is just soak some vermiculite, then squeeze out all the excess water. then i put it in the incubator container and i have no vent holes. i open it up every now and then for air circulation.

i basically do the same but i use 5-6 pin holes in the lid and a couple jars of water in the incubator. i still open the lid of the deli cup for air exchange once or twice a week.
