CGD > Calcium?

AndrewFromSoCal Aug 30, 2007 10:36 PM

Am I right in thinking I remember reading somewhere that if you supplement your baby food/crickets with CGD powder, that you don't need to add calcium, as well?

I can't remember. Some one remind me. :D

are you talking about adding just CGD powder to baby food and dusting crickets with it? or are you saying if you feed CGD in addition to baby food/crickets? you wouldn't want to be feeding baby food and CGD at the same time. if you are feeding CGD, which is completely balanced, you can dust the crickets with pure calcium without vitamin D3. the extra calcium is good for them but too much D3 can be harmful.
