Halogen flood lamp

Would these lamps be ok to use with varanids they are the only ones that I can find over here (UK) that do not have the clear hexagonal centre.

I think that's too small of a bean angle (25 degrees). Use that "Spotlight selector" on that site to find something between 38 - 60 degrees beam angle and 45 - 60 watts.

These > PAR38/60 Watts will work as long as they don't have that clear section in the middle, which they don't appear to have. I'd try my best to find a UK monitor forum to find out before ordering, though.
