Hiding place question .

a_chen_tw Aug 31, 2007 01:49 PM

I know it's necessary to place a hiding place inside the cage for my green tree monitor . The problem is , it's quite diffctlt to find a proper hiding place or hiding box from the stores . Most hiding boxes I found at the shops are all designed for birds and not really easy to place and install on the trunk . I am now considering to make a hiding box myself for my GTM . The hiding box or hiding container should be install and place on the corner of the large trunk in the cage .

Do you have any good advinces about any good idea or proper material to make the hiding container ?

thanks.

use cork bark flats. they usually have a slight radius to them, and if you sandwich two together, it makes for a nice tight fit. we drill them and use zip ties. you can use them on the bottom of the cage, wedge them in up higher, very flexible, and to the monitor, very secure.

Thanks , Robyn . You have helped me a lot . 3 years ago , you taught me how to rise up my juvenile no feeding blood pythons in e-mail , and they are all adults now .

I have also bought some tempguns from your company and imported them into Taiwan , the tempgun is an useful tool and works very well in tempture management .

Anyway , thanks for your advince .
