Fires - what can they do?

alicecobb Aug 31, 2007 02:32 PM

I can't seem to find much info on the Fire and the combos produced from this ball python. Who is working with this morph? How do you ID a Fire? Anyone have any pics of Fires and the combos produced with them?

Thanks

They can do alot. The fire pastel is the first combo morph produced, and I have held the pair in my hands. The fireball pastel is highlighter yellow and jet black. The fireball does in fact get lighter with age, as mine has shed twice since I got him and he is a different snake than when I got him. Fires can be identified by a spot on their head, nice blushing between the saddles, a clear belly, and a stripe on their tail. I believe that the black eyed lucy is just a bonus to what fires will do for us in the future. The only other morph combined with the fire that I know of at this point is fires het for albino, which were produced by Conner Davy of Davy Pythons, and he has two females. This combination should produce an all white snake with orange eyes and red pupils. Here is a pic of my fire, and the fireball pastel female produced by Brandon Boeke of Priceless Pythons.
