i have heard froma couple different people that cycluras have a set breeding pair for life. is this truee? does this hold truee to ctenos??

I don't think that's true. I'm sure a large good looking male iguanid would attract many females and all those ladies want the strongiest best looking man they can find. This I'm sure is true for all lizards. I'm not sure of any that would pair up for life. Except the pair you might keep in an encloser for life.
it might be true in captivity cuz the male is trapped in a box with the same female. In the wild its not true. What ever female is in the males territory is fair game to the male. a males territory changes with challenges from other males. thats what keeps the gene pool strong
