Dumped Off Iggy

Someone dumped a iggy off today at my house, he is a big boy but not in good shape at all. I'm planning on taking him to the vet Tuesday soonest I
can get him in, his mouth is in bad shape, My question is are there any home remedies I can use until then? besides keeping it clean? He is upset right now so I try not to mess with him to much. Tomorrow I plan on getting him out & cleaned up some he is very dirty and dry. Every time I look at him I cry, I don't understand how people can do this to animals Crying or Very sad

any tips would be great

You are doing a good thing taking him to the vet. Next you need to go online and read till your eyes bleed.lol here are a couple sites with good info:
