I recently moved from Las Vegas where my place had central A/C so I could keep the temps down during the day. Now I live in Los Angeles and do not have A/C in my place and am worried about the hot weather. I keep a ceiling and stand fan on my snakes during the day with the windows open. They are in a rack system and have lots of holes for ventilation. The temp does drop some at night. What could I do to cool it down,,or should I worry that much. I have a few different kings, gopher, ball python and a jungle carpet.
Thanks.

What is the temperature in the room during the day? If you don't know, your first priority should be to get a thermometer and find out.

Hi,
Well the temp ranges to 91 F in the day,,and to 78 F at night. I got a window unit that fits in my bedroom, so I will move them in there.

I live in L.A. Ice packs in or near the cages helps, with the cages on the floor.

They sell these standalone A/C units that have a flexible hose for warm air exhaust. Or else a window A/C. I hate the way window A/C's look, but for the Aug-Sep heat waves we get here, it is work putting one in, even if just for these 2 months.

Oh, and a Ranco thermostat for the A/C as a backup. Good luck. These past few days have been torture.
