Ok so this is what happened

I work at the Alexandria Zoo in Alexandria, LA. We had a woman call and said she had a 5 foot yellow snake she found in her yard and i was curious so I told her to bring it to me. She brought it to me and it was a very upset Bull Snake. Has anyone heard of Bull snakes being in Louisiana. I know we have pine snakes but this is definetly a bull snake.

Could you post a picture? Probably an escaped pet, but I've seen LA pines that bore a strong resemblance to bulls.
