New Pictures, New Additions

waspinator421 Sep 01, 2007 07:26 PM

Finally got some updated pictures of a few of my Thayeri. Seems like all the baby girls are going into shed, so most of these are little males.

I did pick up a neat little pair from Maria Heidkamp. The female is super orange, but doesn't look that way right now because she is deep in shed.

Pictures to follow...

Here is my Green Pin-Banded male who I call "Sir" for short. He is getting darker with each shed.

My little yellow male Fezzik is holding on to his color nicely so far.

This is one of my new Thayeri from Maria Heidkamp. He just shed today, so I had to get some pictures of him. His name is Rajah.

Fantastic photography Aubrey. I love those macro shots.

That male looks like he's gotten even brighter. I like the names you choose for the pair as well. Do they mean anything?

Thanks for the compliments, Maria! I have a theme for naming all of my Thayeri, which is after movie characters.

Rajah got his name because his head pattern looks like a little crown. The crown reminded me of a prince, and "Rajah" means prince in Arab. Rajah was the tiger in the movie Aladdin.

Bellatrix is from Harry Potter, and I just liked the way that one sounded. Hopefully she will shed soon so I can get some good photos of her.

Thanks so much for this pair Maria... they are gorgeous!

Yes of course, Aubrey, that makes sense. I got the Fifth Element and Monty Python references right away on some of your other names. They are all great choices and very original.

I'm so glad these two are in your care. I know they are in very good hands!

This is the female from Maria Heidkamp. She is deep in shed right now, but I still wanted to show her off. She is normally bright orange, and her name is Bellatrix.

Formerly “Never Enough Reptiles” but, I messed up and neglected to register the domain name or file as a business under that name. Since we are just small Hobbyists, I really didn’t think of protecting the name we have used for the last four years. Someone else is now Never Enough Reptiles LLC. And has a web site under that name. We did not move to Louisiana and we are no longer posting under that name.

Thank you Rick!
