Update

Not a question, just a comment today! Today we replaced the sand in Gnub's tank, and set up all his hides and rocks and other fun things like they were before. Goober's a little upset and went into his cool hide right away and is sleeping in there. Oh well, he'll get used to it again. He started shedding a few weeks ago, and seems to have stopped now. His attitude has started returning to normal, and not trying to whip us as much when just replacing food or cleaning. Today we took him out to make sure all his toes have shed fine without constricting. While we had him out we took a look at the underside of his tail where he had so much damage when we got him, we had suspected some mild rotting or something. All better! Of course it is a different shade since the rest of his tail did not shed. But, the scales themselves have all regenerated. I'll have to take some pictures. He will probably continue to shed, his belly, some of his upper back, and the joints between his tail spikes look as if they may be starting to. Christopher and I are really surprised that he is actually pulling some lighter oranges and almost some yellows on his thighs where he has shed. Our little Candy Corn Boy; I'm so carving a uro design into my pumpkin this Halloween! Later y'all!

Gizmo hasn't started shedding yet, though I thought he would after his almost-3-day sleep that freaked me out a bit. His colors are starting to look really dull, almost gray-ish around his knees and on parts of his back. I can't imagine what it would feel like to have all my skin peel off LOL!, but I almost wish he would shed because I know there's a gorgeous bright yellow under there! Can't wait to see photos of Gnuby with his fresh colors

Gizmo's toes are starting to shed, and he keeps rubbing up against his rocks, so I'm thinking he's going to be shedding more soon

YAY! Isn't it so exciting! You'll probably see him 'chasing his tail' on a textured rock sometimes for a few minutes to scratch an itch. Just wait 'til something with colors sheds, it is amazing what is hiding underneath.
