WHAT TYPE OF GTP IS THIS? HELP PLEASE!

dc415 Sep 02, 2007 03:03 AM

Hi everyone. So a few months back, my buddy asked me to take a few of his snakes because he was going into the army and he didn't want his wife to take care of them. One of them was this GTP. I don't know much at all about GTP's as my focus is on breeding boas. From the pictures of other GTP's that I've seen, I assumed that it was a Wamena GTP. I've been told by several people that it's not...they say it's a Biak GTP. I don't know the difference, and I'm even more confused now. Any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Probably a Biak. Its really hard to tell 100% unless you collect them in situ personally. I've collected a few in Irian Jaya and other locales in the past and even then there are vaiables sometimes. TC

Wamena was a good guess, but I believe this to be a biak.
