I adopted an iguana from our local animal control a couple months back and my husband and I remodeled our reptile room to make him feel at home. We installed numerous carpeted basking shelves, sisal rope ramps/climbing poles, a cat condo (which he *loves*), painted the walls an awesome shade of green with leaves sponge painted along the trim. I wanted to share some pictures of Oscar and his new room. He seems to really like it!

That's one lucky iguana I bet he's happy that you found him when you did. That room looks great!

OMFG!!!! I am so jealous. i am in the process of making my room look better but I dont think it will ever get that nice. by the way is your iggy trained to go in one spot? or does he poop everywhere like mine. lol

He pretty much either just goes in his soaking tub or on a certain spot on the floor near the base of one of the ficuses. I've started putting paper down in that spot and it's made clean up really easy.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm really proud of him and glad he likes the new room!
