How old are you?

JoshMolone Sep 02, 2007 01:52 PM

14 lol.
Just trying to learn genetics gosh.

JSpythons Sep 02, 2007 05:55 PM

Dude Josh,
I know what's it's like. I'm almost 16 and I didn't come on here until I knew everthing I possibly could so I wouldn't get chewed to pieces by some of the people on here. Other people are just fine and know exactly what it's like. Keep asking questions no matter who says they're stupid. I don't care for people who treat others like they're stupid just because they're asking questions, and you know who I'm talking about because it just happened to you. By the way, how big is your collection and did you have a previous user name of beladona, if so, we've talked before.
P.S. My name's Josh too.

JoshMolone Sep 02, 2007 09:01 PM

Hey Josh, Yes Beladona is my account to. And in my collection I have Pastel BP,Spider BB, 7ft Burm, HUGE normal ball (Hopefully shes a Genetic "Black Back" ),Gray Banded kingsnake,Eastern Hognose, Axthantic Red tail boa and 100% het. albino Radiated Rat snake. I have some other stuff like cat, dogs, and Hedgehog.
Well thanks man, I really appreciate what you said =)

Thanks
Josh

It is not bad to ask questions, but I also think that you should do research first, and if you can't figure it out then ask. Just my two cents...

JSpythons Sep 02, 2007 06:00 PM

couldn't you be a little nicer to a 14 year old kid? So what if he asks questions that seem really obvious to you, they aren't to him. At least he is on here asking questions and wants to learn. He's the type of person that we want because he will further the hobby. You're going to scare him off. I'm 16 and I have 18 snakes, that is sooo small compared to your collection I know. However, that doesn't give you the right to be a jerk to a 14 year old guy. I feel bad for the kid now.

JaredHorenstein Sep 02, 2007 08:58 PM

If you feel that I am being a jerk then thats your opinion.....it just gets annoying when there are a ton of posts that all seem to be the same........

I had no idea he was 14, but I suspected he was young which is why I asked his age.....not to trample all over him. I didnt tell him to stay away or quit posting legit questions.......it's just that some of the ones he has posted seem to be a bit silly.

If he took offense then my bad.....and i am sure he can stick up for himself....

JoshMolone Sep 02, 2007 09:02 PM

Truthfully im 12 =(

JaredHorenstein Sep 02, 2007 09:29 PM

No offense kid.............but i had a feeling...

Keep asking valid questions.................just dont get carried away.

It's the fact that 99% of his questions could be answered by doing a Google search and reading some of the forum posts and breeders' websites that come up.

I have no problem, with the kid asking Q's! That being said, I certainly don't have a problem with Jared asking him how old he is! I asked that same question to someone on here, and got the same reaction! "what, are checking ID's" I think was the Q! My guy ended up being 28 or 29, but that's beside the point! LOL I don't think Jared was out of line!

JaredHorenstein Sep 03, 2007 10:12 AM

He's only 12........

What this forum does not need are liars and dishonest people.

Fool eme one shame on you.........fool me twice shame on me......

Jared, it wasn't Josh! It was someone else!

MATTI1919 Sep 02, 2007 04:01 PM

Common name of mutation: Yellow Belly BumbleBee

Scientific name: Python regius

Details of genetics: Dominant (Spider) x Double Co-dominant (Pastel & Yellow Belly) Mutation

Comments: The Yellow Belly Bumblebee is simply a better Bumblebee !!

The combination of the Yellow Belly (het Ivory) Trait deepens the yellow color of the already interesting looking bumblebee to produce a stunning, triple trait designer morph.
