Champagne's

hkwagner5 Sep 02, 2007 05:14 PM

I haven't been posting to much over here so I thought I would post some pictures. I need more time. Here is a picture of my two Champagne's. I love how orange these things are when they are babies. I can't wait to see the crosses that they are going to make.

Thanks for looking

And me on yours....

Are they recessive or co-dom/dominant?

I'm personally not a fan of those as they are alone, but I agree that they could make some cool crosses.

Jen,
So far they have been proven to be dom.
Time will tell if we will get a super....proving them co-dom.
The combos will be fun. This snake will have tons of future potential. It is nice to see them in the hands of some responsible breeders.

Nice looking pair Brock.
You should call me sometime...I will be available on Monday (am.)

I'd love to chat with you...
Take care.

Well in that case, here's to hoping there's a killer super...AND NOT ANOTHER WHITE SNAKE! LOL!

I'm with you on that one Jen!
......But, whatever the possible super might be, I am very pleased with the Champagnes. These will kick the combos into High Gear!

they fade like the adult BHB was calling his Mint Pearl.

WALL2WALLREPTILE Sep 03, 2007 01:23 AM

Jared,
Yeah...I have see a considerable amount of variation in them.
Makes me wonder if Brian's Mint Pearl is the same thing....I tend to think so....but perhaps it is a combo.
There are plenty of questions.

Pretty snakes.....

I really hope that there is a super form too, well, as long as it is not a white snake!

I should have some good combo stuff with that mutation soon. Having a late year to say the least!

VERY, VERY Nice!!!!!!!

I thought BHB owned the "Champagne" balls?

WALL2WALLREPTILE Sep 03, 2007 09:49 AM

Perhaps he (BHB) owned the first one....or perhaps he was merely the first one to let the public know that he was working with them...Not really sure about that.
I knew he had a single animal for a while...thought it was a female? And I think he may have recently gotten some hatchling African imports as well. I saw photos of a pair of babies he had at the Daytona show.
Perhaps Brian will post here to fill us in on the details of his Champagnes.
Either way....there are a few more floating around out here than at just those at Brian's place.

Hey Kevin,
I saw a photo of one that looked alot like a Pied Champagne.
It had your watermark on the photo.

What can you tell us about that animal?
VERY NICE LOOKING snake by the way!!!
