i think last year most of the 1st year females laid 5-6 clutches of 2, so 10-12. no first year breeders this season.

My first year female laid 8 clutches.. 15 eggs altogether (she had a single) But... I only got 4 hatchlings (possibly 5..last egg still in incubator) out of those 15 eggs. 5 eggs infertile.. 2 clutches lost to a heat spike...and one egg lost to someone getting in my incubator and turning one of the eggs accidentally...(the mate to the one currently still in there)
