Maybe she was just hungry? Stick a male in with her and see if they lock up.

She is still on the big side & pissy to boot. She has made it clear that she does not want to be bothered. I tried 2 diff males & I think she scared both out. lol
If she has ovulated already, there is really no point in placing the male with her anymore. I dont usually feed that much during breeding season, but since ther really seems to be no set breeding season this year?? I do not think she would want food if she had indeed ovulated, but I guess anything is really possible, August just ended 2 days ago.
