CORAL ALBINOS

minicopilot Sep 03, 2007 07:42 AM

I'm looking to buy my first Albino and I've always been partial to the Corals. I wish to obtain a male and saw an 07 that looked to be Coral in coloration with a very nice pattern. What can I expect in regards to the pricing on a snake such as what I have described and what is a fair price to pay?
Thanks

It's hard to say without a picture. Prices vary greatly, depending on quality. A picture would be very helpful.

Be careful with an '07 that is Coral in color. The Argentine crosses have beautiful pinks as babies, and look like top end Corals, but with age they loose the pink just as normal true Argentines do. The true Coral bloodline develops more so with age and it is tough to pick them out when they are young. Pete Kahl, Tom Burke, Rich Ihle, and Frank Martin all have some great Coral Albinos. Even buying an Albino from Coral X Coral it is still a gamble on how it will develop.

If you are buying an 07 "coral" be very careful, most corals don't really start to show for as long as a year, I know I have let some babies go that turnd out to be incredible corals that I wish I had kept. Craig
