Updated pics '06 Hypo x Ghost project

Kerby... Sep 03, 2007 06:57 PM

The daddy is a Hypo/Great Valley Serpentarium "Lavender"

The mommy is a Ghost/Palomar het albinism

Going to breed 1.3 siblings next year.

I still can't explain what is going on here. I was expecting double hets (hypo & Ghost/Palomar)

Here is a pic with a flash.

Yes, he just fed. LOL

Kerby, What does he look like next to a lavender?

Kerby... Sep 04, 2007 06:17 PM

Here is a Blue-eyed Blonde on the LEFT and and the other guy (or his brother, as I produced 2 like that) on the RIGHT.

He's not a Lavender, either strain.

There is another (or seems to be another) hypo looking strain that occurs naturally in Carlsbad. It has normal eyes with no red in it's pupils. I don't know if it looks like yours as a juvenile but it doesn't seem to ever be discussed on here. Is your snakes eyes red or is that just the flash? Here's the light brown Carlsbad king I'm talking about.

Those are the same snake under two different types of lighting.

So one of them was that purple color? And the rest more or less normal double hets?
