Fungus on eggs

Gekkotans Sep 04, 2007 05:49 PM

I have some eggs in the incubator and a few are with some fungus on it (as expected as some of them came out with like a membrane over the shell). Anyone know what can I do to spot the fungus? Mecanic remove and/or fungicide? Thanks for any help

I'd seperate them from the main clutch if possible. Then I'd attempt to mechanically remove whichever membrane you are talking about, but only if it could be done without hurting the eggshell. Finally, I would use a cottontipped applicator and very lightly paint on a super dilute betadine solution.
