C. vestigium photos

wwwwwells Sep 05, 2007 10:51 AM

I recently got a new digital SLR camera and I'm still learning how to use it. In the past, my indoor pictures just didn't come out that good. Probably too much flash. The other day I took photos of most of my lizards indoor with a plastic bottle over the flash, acting as a difusser. The color of the pictures came out much better but I still need to perfect my indoor photography. Here's a few shot of my C. vestigiums:

This is a captive bred lizard from Brock Nelson. I think it's a young male but as most people know they can be hard to sex. I don't see any pigmintation on the dewlap yet.

This is my adult male C. vestigium. He's very big and agressive. I can't keep any females with him since he has attacked all of them and killed one of my best C. vestgium females. He's the father of 4 hatchlings this year from 2 different clutches.

This is the sister of my large adult male C. vestigium.

This is a wild caught female that Brock and I caught a few years ago as a hatchling about a month old. Her orange bars stay year round.

3 of 4 C. vestigium hatchlings. Sorry for the nose being cut off when reducing the picture size.

4 of 4 C. vestigium hatchlings. This one is my favorite and from the same clutch as the 3rd hatchling.
