Does your king snake's poo smell worse than any of your other snakes? My new cali king can stink up the corner of a room. I haven't had this problem with my corn snake. Sound normal?

The more you feed him the more he poops! The more he poops the stronger the smell - because when they eat more often, they also poop bigger piles (a lot of folks don't notice this right away). BUT: If you notice that the poop is liquid all the time and smells stronger than you're used to, then I would be a little concerned (possible internal bacterial infection), and maybe take your snake to a vet who has experience in treating reptiles. As long as your snake is still eating good, I wouldn't worry even if the stool is a little thin at times.
BTW: Nothing smells worse than "Stinkigo" poop (Indigo poop). When one of my Eastern Indigos poops the whole house knows about it, lol! I have to clean it up immediately! Their smell is five times worse than even my six foot Eastern kingsnake when he poops (my wife really hates it when those Indigos poop, lol).

Funny that this thread got started, because I was just thinking about starting one like this, except more of a poll for which species in general has the stinkiest poo.

Hands down, I'd have to say my southern pines- just like Blueking's mention of the indigo! As soon as you walk into my house, you can tell if one of the southerns pinched a peanut- my god! The aspen doesn't do JACK to neutralize it!

None of my pythons/kings poo come CLOSE to what comes out of those guys!

Thanks for the replies. The poops look normal enough. Not too wet. Its funny, I open the cage and gag, but when she musks on me I don't even smell it.

I thought the stinky snake poo award was reserved for the water snakes because they eat fish. Man those things reek. But my king is pretty close.
