When I first moved to Aiken, I didn't have a supplier right away so I decided to buy at petsmart....$12 for 4 small adult mice....forget it! Quality seemed fine, but no way was I feeding 14 snakes (at the time) with $3 a piece adults and $2 a piece pinkies. Luckily I found a supplier near me that has good quality animals that I can go to, pick out what I want and they are euthanized right then.

thanks for the advice. i get mine right now from LLL reptile. good prices i think. didn't realize that they were so expensive there.

I would recommend either Rodent Pro or Mice direct, but you have to buy in bulk to keep prices low. I would recommend buying for 2-6 months at a time depending on your freezer. You cant beat these prices if you buy in bulk.

LLL reptile has them bet though. the shipping is cheaper form LLL.

Are you sure about that you might want to get a quote from Rodent Pro its allot cheaper then LLL Reptile at least for me, I am on the East Coast.
Here is the price @ Rodent Pro
Less Than 500 ($0.49 each) $12.25 per bag
Qty. Per Bag: 25x2 = 50
Length (Inches): 3.00 - 3.75*
Weight (Grams): 30.00 - 50.00
Grand Total:$58.72 With Shipping
And Here is LLL Reptile
Large adult mice
size: 40 grams (retired breeders)
50 for $89.95 ($1.80 each) With Shipping
This pattern continues with pinkies and rats cant even compare, especially when they have specials with they have all the time.

the problem with rodent pro is that they only offer 100 per pack. right now i only have a single snake and it will take for ever to get through that. not to mention he is only 3 months old. LLL offers 25 pack which is more doable right now for me. but you are correct about the adult mice prices and i will probably got with them when the time comes for the larger ones.
it kinda sucks though cause i bought 50 pinkys and its going to take a while to get through those. im tempted to start buying live ones and frezzing them myself.
