I bred a lavender male (pos het hypo) to a normal corn female w/ no know hets. Out of 15 hatchlings I have one very light colored pink snake w/ dark eyes. I assumed this is either a lavender or hypo lavender. I was told they can be difficult to tell apart at hatching. This would mean that the female has to be at least het for lavender if not also het hypo.
The large percentage of the other hatchlings are very light colored compared to their normal colored het siblings and have the pink/peach coloring between their saddles like lavs do:

Here is the pink one that I believe to be either lavender or hypo lav:

Could these lighter colored sib's possibly be ghosts (I didn't notice any anery babies) or can het lav's be lighter in color (I didn't think there where any physical markers for corn morphs other than bloodreds)?
I have read (from Serpenco's site) that a snow corn was one of the primary ancesters to the lavender morph which could explain anery' or ghosts popping out.........
Thanks,
Ralph

Every year is like christmas. this year I found out that my female snow and a snow male I borrowed were both het. stripe
