Brazilian and Peruvian Rainbows

Jeff Clark Sep 06, 2007 10:24 PM

I was in the reptile store getting mice the other day and they had a 4.5 foot long female BRB. I have been trading baby Rainbows for mice at the store for several years and they have sold quite a few of my babies. This snake is probably one of those snakes. She was dry looking and dull in the store with a few scrapes but I could see that she has nice crescents. I traded two 2007 babies for her and brought her home and set her up in a very humid cage. She shed this evening and looks better than I thought she would.

These next two PICs are one of the 2006 Craig McSherry Peruvian Rainbow Boas.

She has nice orange lips like my 2005 McSherry peruvians that I showed here a couple months ago.

Hummel had some mcsherry's for sale a little while ago, you could always email him and ask him if he has any left. I bought one from him and named him Zoolander cuz he is such a looker!

Thanks for all the nice comments. The BRB has pretty nice crescents but her dark color is not so impressive to me. I need females and so I am keeping her. I sold some young adult males at Daytona that were much prettier than she is.
