hey guys, do the scenery backgrounds help corn snakes in anyway?

also, is it better to put those plastic plants in the tank for decoration? like the one that u stick on the side of the tank....just wondering, will those get easily soiled by the corn snake? (i wont be putting it on the ground)

I dont know about the background. I don't use any, but all my tanks have plastc bushes suction cupped in the corner of the cool end. It gives the snakes a great hide spot. All my snakes hide there during the day.
