Here's my baby sunglow motley. A regular sunglow would probably have the same colors.

Yes, baby sunglows hatch out with white. From what I have seen, they look EXTREMELY similar to a normal albino, except the reds and oranges seem to be a little more intense. They loose more and more of the white with each shed. If I am able to do this properly, I will put up a pic of a hatchiling, a yearling, and an adult from my collection.

I have seen sunglows that have no white as hatchlings. I guess they are super line bred. If i was to purchase a sunglow, I would purchase a hatchling that had hardly any white, if any at all.

Personally, I think the "regular" Sunglows look a lot different from the Motleys. The Motleys show less white at birth and have a rich orange background. I hatched a clutch of Sunglows this year and some have very little white and bright orange markings. Others have so much white that they look like bright amels. Well, they are amels, but I hope you know what I mean. The father is from Kathy Love's Sunglow line and is a beautiful raging orange Sunglow. With each shed these little guys show more and more color. Like Misty said, select for babies with the least amount of white anywhere, plus the most orange near the head.
