You better stick w/ corns because you couldn't get a burmese in there!!

PHLdyPayne Sep 07, 2007 08:30 PM

So where's the artwork of all the herps you have successfully found in that vehicle?

I want to see scales on that thing!

I posted the pics of my wife's x-90 just to see what kind of responses I'd get.I personally don't even like the damn thing. To me a real herpin' vehicle would have some dirt on it!l.o.l. Jeff

Good...because the "BOOKIKI" license plates and chick yellow paint job werent exactly oozing macho manliness like a true herp vehicle should.

Hmmmm. Are you implying that you have to be a man to go herping?

Actually he implied that he was a man....and as such he should have a manly herpin' vehicle. You ladies can drive around in all the pink VW bugs with the flowers on the dashboard while herpin' and still look cool...us guys violate the top secret "man code" if we do that. As for the man code...I've said too much already.

so what is wrong with a beetle now? It just so happens that 2 of my favorite things are old volkswagons and new snakes.

If one helps me to find the other than i am all for it.

Of course if you were to see my volkswagon you wouldn't think it was one at all. But it runs circles around most other cars offroad.

The older bugs are hard to beat. When I was growing up in WV. my dad had two of them.We used to go out riding around on the old strip roads(mining). Those things will pretty much go anywhere! Jeff

I had a suzuki sidekick for a few years that was a PERFECT herp vehicle. Basically like a tracker with a bigger back and 4wd. But I was young and nobody told me that cars needed oil You don't make that mistake twice.....

LOL!!! The x-90 got voted"The worst car ever" by a UK magazine in the late '90s.The last year they were offered in the US,they only sold a little over 400 of them in the whole country.

cochran Sep 09, 2007 08:57 AM

You're right! The damn things ride like a go-cart.But,they have a small following now that they don't make them anymore. Jeff

That just won't do! There is no grappling gun OR net shooter! I think the best herp vehicle for the money would be a Suzuki sidekick with a spotlight built in. Or a dune buggy...

This pic is a bit old, it's had a few modifications since then, and unfortunately still needs to be regeared before I'll dare any long trips with it.....
