native species laws in NC

I have been looking for the native species laws for north carolina, and any other herp laws I might need to know. I was wondering if anyone had links or knows the laws about keeping, breeding of native species. thanks to anyone who replies

I know there are limitations - no selling, for one thing. It's all based on a bad law. There's a number limit for Emydidae turtles, whether native or not. Try one of these websites to find the law.
