As of last week, ALL of my twelve hatchlings have eaten (even the holdout has eaten twice as of last night).
Some of them take the pinks straightaway--put 'em in a deli cup with a fat thawed pinky and they chow down. Some require an easy way of tease-feeding--when I see they haven't eaten on their own and seem to have no interest (curled up on the opposite side of the cup), I simply hold the pinky and they go for it while sitting in the cup.
Another few require the standard tease feeding--hold 'em and they'll go for it.
The last few won't strike in the standard tease-feeding way, BUT I found a way that has worked everytime. I set them on the floor and allow them to try and run for cover. A few mad dashes on the floor followed by a grab and immediate tease-feed has worked amazingly well--my holdout required this technique, and it's worked for both feedings. And once he strikes, he doesn't let go the way some tease-feeders do, but chows down with gusto.
Thought that last tip might be helpful for anyone in a similar situation as mine.
Next up--trying to pop them (I'll do this next week). I'm scared.
