Day 58, growing impatient, Should I cut!

idealreptiles Sep 08, 2007 08:05 PM

I usually cut them by now, and have NEVER had any problems with this.
This is my most anticipated clutch, spider x pastel, and candling the four eggs reveals signs of the bee I am hoping for.
The eggs are dimpling, and all looks well.
I am dying to see these eggs hatch!
I told myself I would wait until they come out on their own.
What should I do?

you know as well as the rest of us if you were to cut even one of those eggs the next day the rest of them would be pipping! LOL! I say have patience and wait... that way when they do pip and you see the Spider (female), Bee (male), and two Pastels(one of each) you'll be able to savor it all the more.

I'm just guessing about what you've got brewing... let me know how close I am... I've got money on this clutch. My brother is over and we've knocked back a few brews in celebration of the fact we are both going to be fathers again. So, add a little alcohol to the fact that we are both going to be broke (again) in nine months and ... well... you get it.

A wife, hundreds of snakes and two cats is all I can handle (BARELY).... ad a few kids and I would go crazy.... though many would say I am all ready there.

I have candled the eggs... and you could be VERY close on the odds.

I was thinking of this sort of thing before.
Snake clutch lottery betting.

One clutch a year, I take bets, and the winner gets a valuable great spectacular prize.... like a dime bag of virosan from Pro Exotics and a years worth of snake sheds.
I'll even throw in the remains of a hatched bumblebee egg.
lol
