Best Tortise of sizes under lepoard

batlizard Sep 09, 2007 08:19 AM

I have a science teacher who recently lost her Leoard Tortise. She asked me when I order monitor lizards to order a new tortise for her. She wants a decent size but no larger than the lepoard Tortise and they are too costly now. Can anyone direct me to an attractiove but mid sized or smaller species

Redfoots, eastern hermanns, female russian tortoise, greek tortoises. The cheapest would probably be a russian, the biggest would probably be a red foot. Eastern hermanns, russians and greeks I think all average around 8 inches at full size.
