Some where found in talus and others were found in vegetation where it meets the talus. I believe I got the only photo of one as most escaped under rocks, in holes, etc before we had a chance to photograph them. The one pictured was basking on a rock and slowly crawled underneath. I stuck my camera underneath and came away with that picture. I left it alone after that.
