when the eyes turn blue and hazy...how long before my snake will shed?

Depends on the snake. When you see it go clear then usually it is about 2 to 3 days they will shed. Make sure your humidity is up so they can shed in 1 piece.

How is it going with handling the snake, getting better for you?

well i got a meal in him after my last post...so i hadnt tried...then i went to handle him allitle and noticed his eyes had glazed over and he didnt wanna be picked up...thats why i posted this previous post....i got the humidity up best i could...i managed to keep it between 70 and 80 from the time i noticed his eyes...unfortunatly hes having a horrible partial shed today and im worried i dont know what to do.

my corn snake shed yesterday...one long fully intact piece no problem...he also eats whenever offered...is a breeze to keep...my python is all about giving me trouble hehe

LOL Welcome to the ball world, they can be a challenge, but when all is established I promise it is worth it. After he is done shedding and if there is anything left one him try soaking him in luke warm water for about 15 min, mine like swimming around. Then get a towel and get it wet with warm warm and put the snake in the towel and keep him covered, so he can rub against the towel. That will help get the old skin off. I have had to do this myself and I let them slither out while holding them and if it looks looses enough just rub the towel on the skin and it should come right off.
Just make sure to go in the direction of the scales not opposite. It will get the shed off and you will be interacting with your snake. I personally know nothing of corns so I can not compare.
