Carpet pythons

how large do carpets get? what is the temperment like?...im considering keeping one...anything i should know? ive kept balls and corns

Depends on which type. IJ (West Papuans) about 4-6', Jungles 5 -7', and Coastals 8 - 12'. These are pretty well accepted averages, but there are exceptions...Will Leary has a female Jungle that's about 10'. He recently posted a picture of her on the Morelia forum.

As far as other things you should know....they're really, really cool! They usually stay out in the open on perches, etc., and cruise around all night. Active and inquisitive! Most babies are nippy, but they usually grow out of this.

I'm sure if you post this on the Morelia forum, you could probably get some guys to post some pics showing size, enclosures, etc.
