Hi, I just have a quick question. With baby vields how much would you feed them a day. And the place where i'm going to buy mine has about 15 babys in a 5x4x2 tank. Is that ok? It seem like the people are really nice and take good care of them.

Im not sure how much to feed a babt cham..I guess as much as he wants? Mine seems to eat when he feels like it..and I never see him clean out a bowl in one sitting..he paces himself...Not sure if veileds gorge though...
as far as a a pet shop goes...I would look under the classifieds here. You can get a cham from a breeder. I can tell you that the breeder is usually a great person to work with and generally VERY happy to help you out. Laso they are a bit more grateful that you chose to buy from them.
You will save a good amount from buying from a breeder as well.
petshops factor all of the costs in to keeping them and then charge you. Check the classifieds here! you can get a rare - more colorful cham from the ks classifieds cheaper than you will get one from the store.
also a good breeder KNOWS how to take care of the guys. feeds them well. and you can generally count on that. A pet store - especially one with 15 babys in a tank may not be watching each one's food intake...
just my 2 cents - hope it helps.

Buy from a reputable breeder.
I WORK in a petstore and i tell our customers to get their chams elsewhere, honestly. Because my reptile manager doesnt really care about how the chams are taken care of and he tends to just let them dehydrate and sometimes even die in their enclosures because to him its just a business expense.
Ive tried to change this and am now at the point of just keeping my mouth shut and telling people to get chams elsewhere.
But yea, check the classifieds at kingsnake and also check out reptile shows. At the shows here you can get NICE baby veils for like, $30 or less. Panthers and jaxx are more, obviously because theyre jsut not as common out here. But yea, look at shows, look for local breeders etc.
I dont reccomend buying a cham from a petstore, no matter how "nice they seem to be."
Just my $.02
