new corns

superdave1781 Sep 10, 2007 03:40 PM

Well, me and my wife went to the pet shop Wed. to get some supplies, and ended up buying two little baby corn snakes! I don't know the sex of them, but we named them Romulus and Remus. Can anyone tell me what they will look like as adults based on their color now? Better yet, can anyone post pics of adults that started out like these guys? Thanks a bunch!

They look like a ghost and a normal.

I thought ghost, but my wife didn't agree. I also thought normal for the other one, but it's more colorful than my other "normal" was then, and is now. I guess there's a lot of diversity even amoung the normal pattern. Below is a pic of my older "normal" Cypress. Thanks for the help, and if anyone else has a different opinion on what they are, let me know!

I'm going to go with Shaky on this one.
ghost and normal
Very nice color on both.
It is so hard to tell but that normal could end up looking like this girl, she looked very similar as a hatchling

The ghost is even harder to quess. I have a couple of adult ghosts but neither were close enough to your hatchling, at that age, to use as comparisons.
Do a search on ghosts, I bet you will find plenty of variations.

At NARBC they were calling the brown (what I normally would call a normal) chocolates.

Has anyone else heard this?
