Coastal keeper

I wasn't going to hold back any Coastals this year until I saw this guy. He's the only one I've ever hatched out with a totally red head.

That is SWEET. Jeff, like you said, that new rack I bought at the White Plains show is going to get me in a lot of trouble (lots of empty boxes).

Joe, Paul produces these killer milks every year and I have bred them before. So I ask him specifically for the ones with the reddest heads......he sends me pics of ALL of the babies(or so I thought, lol). The females had the "look of a redhead" I was looking for but alas no males. Now I wonder if I havent talked him into preferring redheads......Paul, blondes are cool too! Jeff....ps, these are small and take up little room in that shiny new rack, tell your wife I told you to, she hates me already, lol.J

Paul,
nice animal! Yeah its hard to let them go when they look like that huh! I hatched out a Hyde/Tyrrell coastal this year that looked similar but the white neck band completely circled the head and the outlining black ring is gone from the head side.It has a simialr head to your with a red head and a one sided white ring.I'm going to hold onto it as well and see what happens. Some interesting things have been happening with the coastals from se VA and ne NC.I found a pair here in se VA this year and now have 1.3 from this area and should have babies next year! Have a few other new localities as well.
