Question about eastern corals

I want to maintain a captive eastern coral snake as part of a collection of southeastern U.S. venomous herps used for education. Have any of you kept one of these successfully long-term? I would especially like to know if anyone has been able to convert one to a rodent diet. Thanks in advance for any tips about the husbandry of this species.
