i've had my beardies since july 15 and they are about 14 to 15 inches long now and are voracious eaters. my best guess is they eat about 30 to 40 1/4 to 1/2inch crickets between the 2 of them a day. i also started buying 1 inch crickets and they eat about 24 of those a day between them. they also touch they're greens and veggies about once a day. i buy about 100 1/4 to 1/2 inch crickets every 3 to 4 days for $5 and realized that making a run to the pet store so often has become an expensive habit. i also have 3 other animals that consist of crickets in there diet but not nearly as much as the beardies. i was thinking about purchasing cricket's from these internet sites that offer them for $20 1000 crickets shipping included. But before i do that my question is am i properly feeding my beardies the right amount of crickets a day or am i over feeding them or even under feeding them for that matter? any useful information on feeding, buying, and keeping crickets would be very helpful. everything your doing is fine. i see nothing wrong with your methods. i have 9 of my own soon to be many more(gravid female)i get my crackets from LLLreptile.com for 16.99 for 1000 includes shipping. if u look around u might find more for less. i did know of a place for 1000 at only 10.99 but sometimes you can get parasites from badly kept crickets. so i stick with what i know is good. any more ?'s please feel free to call me my number is below. yes im in orlando but dont worry about time i am up all night and day..im an insomniac
