F3. Just picked up seven of these from a friend of mine in SC right out of the egg. I've kept these guys for years...outstanding animals!!!

Thanks for looking.

Very nice looking animals. Look like Big babies.

Very cool. Are they hissing and/or striking? I'm hoping to pick up another Black Pine this weekend at a small show in Tallahassee.

I have been planning on going out to Escambia Co. to look for them. I should have done it already, I'm only about 45 min from there.

Best of luck with them. They are soo cool.

They are awesome animals. Please keep me posted if you find any from Escambia Co. These are F3 and I would love to introduce new blood to the line.

Thanks,
Michael

I'm guessing you got these animals from Steve B. I believe these are descendants of animals collected by Kevin Enge or Paul Moler several years ago. They are considered a lodingi/mugitus natural intergrade. I also recall they get rather large. Definitely a very unique locale.

Paul Moler found the great grandparents I believe. I got mine from a bio professor at a nearby university. I picked up a couple of females from him between '04-'06, but this is the first time I have been able to get my hands on a male. From what I've been told, the adults approach 8 feet.

Thanks,
Michael
