Sorry no pics but I did want to mention a few of my greater moments in Anaheim this past weekend.
First and foremost, I got to see my old friends Ron and Mary Huffaker from my East bay Vivarium days. It's been close to thirteen years since I've seen Mary. She looks great and has just as bright and cheerful an attitude as ever. It was super cool to talk to her. She reminded me how lucky we are to be able to work with these amazing animals.
Next, I got to see the columbian ghost in person. I know it was mentioned in Dave's thread. But I just have to add, the animal really is breathtaking. It's lit a real fire under me to get on the Brazilian ghost.
Finally, I got to have an interesting conversation with a frenchman named Iman Gleu. We talked at length about locality breeding vs. breeding for particualr traits. Quirky guy but seems like he'll be fun. He says he checks into this forum every now and then, so watch out for him. We may have another Bob on our hands (did I just type that?)
Sorry for the lack of pics. Just wanted to let everyone know thta we can throw a good show here on the west coast as well.
