>>my ball shedded about 2 weeks ago but i've notice some skin on and around her head that hasn't peeled away yet. what can i do to assist her with that?
What can work is putting her in a damp (not wet!) pillowcase for a little while (15 minutes or so), so that she slides around in the extremely humid environment for a while and hopefully the shed sloughs off.
If it doesn't seem to be bothering her any, leave it alone and just wait for it to come off at the next shed. Make sure that you crank the humidity way up, either through light misting a couple times a day, a damp towel over the top of the aquarium, a "shed box" full of damp mulch or other damp substrate... and also make sure that she has something nice n rough to shed on, like a rock or half-log hide.
Good luck!
