Has anyone heard of any of the various species of Uromastyx hybridizing (naturally or in captivity)? I am aware of the arguments against hybridizing but I am curious if it has happened and what the offspring look like. Thanks!

these have been done in captivity and can occur in the wild:
mali x moroccon
mali x flavifasciata
i suspect aegyptia aegyptia x microlepis can occur in the wild i don't know if anyone has bred them
others have done some other combos
Doug Dix i believe is an expert on these things.
Thanks BK. Good info. Someone else has told me about a mali x aegypticus hybrid.
now that is just crazy.no offense to whoever but you are bananas.
guys, i am new i am wondering how long until my mali gets to 3 feet long? -no reply
guys i think my mali is eggbound with 27 aegypticus eggs, what do i do? -give her dirt to dig...does she have a nest box?what are the temps?
if i haven't paired my egyptian i will be stuck to try it.
where are the egypt babies, turtley, do you know?
hey turtle! i just saw an ad for egyptian x mali. the pics show a young adult female mali and an occellated-i can't really tell if it's egyptian or sudy. they said they bred and show an obviously normal mali hatchling. silly- lies, all lies!
it's on craigslist-"uromastyx lizard great pet like bearded dragon..."if you want to laugh.
